these any good? Orange and three have them for £99 on contract at the minute so thinking of going to pick one up tomorrow. Not really after one for serious use, got my laptop for that but look good for killing time with the apps and such.
Isnt there a cheaper version??? bit dubious me with these ipads, think they rushed the 1st one out and there is ipad 2 now bet be no3 come summer, Hmmmmm, how much a month???
Seen someone bring one into a chippy the other day. looked cool if i'm honest... a mate's got one though and says they're just a big ipod touch so wouldn't know if they're worth the money or not
Got one from work - never use it - probably sent about a dozen emails on it & nothing else. To be honest i forget that i even own one. Load of shite IMHO

Reckon I'd use it a lot sitting on the sofa browsing the web, as use my phone a lot at the moment. Not sure if it would get much other use mind, guess you can hook it up to speakers and use like an ipod too.
The lesson here is, you shouldn't have got that shit phone when you knackered your iphone

they're ace for looking at web and emails while sitting on the couch. also some of the music apps are incredible. i wouldn't bother with the 3G contract ones cos most people use them at home so the 3G doesn't get used. I don't take mine out he house and I won't till they're more common and less nickable. even the it'd only be to work. seriously they're brilliant. I'm on the first one, whic I think has gone down in price. the new one isn't a big enough jump to upgrade but is a good buy for a first timer
