Anyone take him in recently? Just wondering because was getting some horrid reviews before he postponed it, but saw him last Friday in Newcastle and it was bloody good. Still not a singer like, but his backing lot were brilliant and he didn't forget any lyrics. The black grape numbers were bob on
Loved the Mondays at the time and even saw them supporting New Order in about '87 well before they were known but I honestly can't listen to them nowadays. I don't know why.
Met Shaun a few times and partied with Bez, Last time we organised the afterparty for their octogan gig in Sheff and was very surprised to see Shaun fucked off after the gig straight back to hotel, Wouldnt mind catching him again and seeing what the score is, dont think much to their drivers tho, Scallies of the highest order.
Saw him support The Charlatans before Christmas and he was really good. Sounded good and knew most of the lyrics which made a change as he usually reads them off a bit of paper.
im a big mondays fan,,seen them twice but on one of the comeback tours..not in there heyday...much tae ma regret,,.heard some bad reports about his solo gigs,,,,,i still listen tae the mondays every day....would love tae meet shaun and bez.....couple of characters....
TBH honest Mox meeting Bez for the first time shattered the illusion as meeting celebs usually does, not all cracked upto be, granted wild for a night out, but not everything sat right with me on the night... Had a couple of mates walk out of the party due to his antics, but yeah characters....

He is one chap I'd like to meet. Bought my first pair of Armani Jeans after seeing him wear a pair in 88,he was always a good dresser and obviously knew how to party.
