The big 4-0 for me too this year and I'm exactly the same....5am pretty much every morning whether I need to be or not.
Getting up early is a good thing, the best time of the day is when every fucker is asleep. That tranquility of a fresh early morning is infinitely inspiring.
Old man noises (nicked from the Adam & Jo show on 6music) Basically when you make a noise for no apparent reason, young people make no such noises. eg, when bending down to pick something up, "ooohhhh" or after taking the first glug of a pint, "aaahhhhhhhh" There is no reason to make these sounds!
