Your body parts Whats your thoughts on this?? Are you part of a donor plan, or dont you see this happening. I imagine a fair havent got that much to offer hehehehe.... I suppose if a member of family then it is not an option....
Yeah, I'm on the register. Try to donate blood whenever possible. Think about strangers who've helped people in my family and makes it difficult for me not to.
Im sure i filled in a donor card a while ago......i guess it all depends on your beliefs.....id kinda like to help someone if i can after im gone....its the spirit thats important from my point of view...the body, less so,,especially when yer 6ft under.
My love muscle is due to go on display in an Amsterdam museum
as for anything else, help yourselves I say. I went to that German Baron's Bodyworks display in London when it was on tour. Where he plastinates freshly deceased people and animals. Fascinating stuff.
I am on the list but said they are not having my eyes, no way. They can have any bits from inside though as I won't be needing them where I plan on going.
I remember signing a form a while back to say take everything. What use is it to me when I'm gone? I think it should be compulsory. I also believe that when you die your wealth should be distributed amongst the British people. You make your own way in life, no one should inherit wealth.
As a side note, while in a cathedral in southern Italy, I saw a plaque stating that someones heart was buried there. Novel.
Think i opted in a while ago and try and give blood whenever I can. Moons ago my dad was in hospital and they said that blood donor levels were very low so started donating from there.
Must admit I agree that none of it will be any use to me when I'm gone.
Mate of mine donated a kidney or liver (forget now) to his mum last year fair play
I don't think I'll donate anything while I'm alive but they can take whatever they want once I'm dead. As mentioned above it should be compulsory although that will never happen.
The category of the prosumer commodity does not signify a democratization of the media towards participatory systems, but the total commodification of human creativity
