I know forums like these get filled with loads of ebay and paypal shit - which is annoying as it has little to do with clothing etc.

However, this is really pissing me off and I am hoping someone else has been here and can give me some needed information. A week ago I sold an item on ebay. The boy pays for it then the payment is "held". I have tried to sort it in the resolution centre but that didn't work straight away.

How long does it take for a payment to be "unheld"?

This maybe due to over his side the funds having to be cleared, does it mention an echeque???
could be looking at 7 - 10 days, depend if they holding cause he supplied wrong info or waiting to confirm account

sounds like an echeque payment or his account isnt confirmed to paypal/ebay

Had it happen to me before, wasn't an echeque it was because paypal thought it was a fraudulent payment. Took me loads of fcking about think it was 14 days before any thing could be done, had to phone ebay a couple of times and give them a bit of sh*t...got payment in the end. Bloody annoying as you don't have your item and you don't have any payment! Hope they sort it for you. Always best to send special delivery signed for, at least then you have proof you kept your side of the deal.
