Not loading all the pics on webpages for some reason. I get most but then occasionally I just get the blue square with the question mark in.
The 'pictures' thread, for example, is nightmare. Quite often only get a couple of the photos. Sometimes refreshing helps bring some more up but never get them all in one hit.
Tried googling and there doesn't seem to be any advice out there, other than clearing the cache, which doesn't solve it unfortunately.
I am quite conservative when it comes to electronic goods. Like I won't remove any original software, keep the desktop bare etc. I just like keeping them as I got them. So changing the browser synonymous with my mac was a big step. Good step to take though!
One thing has pissed me off recently that I think is down to me using Safari, when I've used quidco it hasn't been tracking my purchases, not a couple of quid either I was expecting 60 quid back, I suspected it might be down to the browser so the next time I bought something through quidco I used Firefox instead and it tracked that (38p from Dominos :) )
I've got Safari, Chrome and Firefox on my mac, all have their positives and negatives, like for watching streams of footy/boxing most of the time Safari won't work but Firefox will. The main reason I use Safari though is for the 'Top Sites' feature.
Same here, I've got all bases covered in my Top Sites, I rarely use Google these days.
I've never had a problem viewing pictures with Safari, but just this minute went onto a site and where the pictures are meant they've been replaced with little blue boxes with a white ?, annoying that is.
[quote="ryan"]I like safari. I know everyone says chrome and firefox are better but I stick to what i know. Not having the pictures issue you had either.
What's the bonuses of chrome then Phil, sell me it, talk to me.
I use Safari, and this forum looks terrible in Safari. I see all the [quotes] bits and general things which i'm sure i shouldn't see. Or does this happen to everyone?
