Had my ultrasound scan late this afternoon,I have to wait until friday now as the scans have to be evaluated by the doctor, the affected testicle (left) has a dark area of say 25% so its not looking to good I'm afraid. Most cysts are on the outer of the testicle and can usually be ruled out on a scan as they are usually full of fluid and the scan can see through them.Next step is to hear from the specialist who will almost certainly suggest the removing of the testicle. Then they check the removed testicle to see which strain of cancer it is.Then I would have to have an MRI scan to see if the cancer has spread elsewhere then the specialist will decide on the type of treatment I will need.
I know it's easy for me to say mate, but you've gotta stay as positive as possible until you have official confirmation etc then take it from there... Take care fella and keep us all updated.
fingers crossed for ya here fella, as sheff said, hang in there and keep positive. Even if its bad news alot can be done for you, take it easy and all the best.
Yeah sorry to hear that mate, I apologise for talking so light hearted on it in your other thread, fingers crossed for you and wish you the best with it.
Good luck mate, had a few scares myself and a couple of ultrasounds. I wouldn't worry too much that you didn't get a reply straight off - I never did and both came out clear. Apparently I'm just lumpy.
