Lost my job the other day, was only 20 hours a week like but well paid. Just hope i can find something soon which i highly doubt around here. Not going to get down about it but hopefully something will pop up, there was a butchers apprentice job up for grabs the other week 250 applied unreal made the front page of the paper as there was even graduates applying for the £6 a hour job.

It's a nightmare at the minute fella, especially for the youngsters.

I've had to take start temping and I hate temp work.

I did 3 years at col, went straight into a apprentice then got to know another lad was earning £475 a week before tax then i was 18. Wish i would of picked a diffrent trade now lasted about a year then the recession hit home. Not had a sniff in the building trade since, not had a fulltime job in the last couple of years. Shouldn't be moaning though everybodys in the same boat.

Tell me about it . Just finished Uni for the summer. Work few hours a week. Want More hours but my workplace blocked me doing additonal hours.

My oldest daughter finished six form with all the grades she needed and more , applied to uni and was told she was perfect in everyway but lacked experiance???.
She has had to take a full time job for 12 mnths in a care home to get the experience. (her course was in the operating theatre but any experience will count??)
Her course was a bursery type so there really picky but how can a school leaver be told that when it is meant for school leavers
Joke this country , if your up the ladder your fine but if your on rung 10 or bellow you can be kicked off at any given moment

I'm going back to Denmark. £14 an hour for unskilled labour and you get paid for going to uni, haha.

its all shit liam..... i just got a weeks work WOOP fukin WOOP... fuk me a whole week to feed the family on for the national wage of £5.93 and there doing me a big favour lol.... so they seem to think, working in a foooookin flour mill....
