It would seem that Seve has had a major relapse in his fight:

The five-times major winner had surgery on a brain tumour in late 2008 followed by a course of chemotherapy and had been recuperating at his home in northern Spain. The family say they will issue reports on his condition but the move to make the information public suggests grave concern over his health. “The Ballesteros family report that a severe worsening of the neurological state of Seve has taken place," read the offical statement. “The family will be informing as and when new information on the state of his health arises, and would like to take this moment to express their gratitude for all the support that Seve and the family have received. “Updates on his condition will be conveyed through the Seve Ballesteros official website.”
I'm not a big golf fan but I was a big fan of his for the way he took on the Americans. He was the major factor in European golf earning respect from the yanks and his style of play was also great to watch. I hope he can pull through this but it isn't sounding too good

A very charismatic sports man. I was shocked when I read somewhere when they operated on his tumours last year they found a hole in one.
Seve is who I wanted to be when I was a little kid.An absolute natural at the game. Its funny that in golf once it goes it rarely comes back again hence his (and my) somewhat early retirement from the playing side.Mind,I was kinda skint at the end and I reckon that Seve is/was alright for wonga.
and lets not forget he cut a fine figure in golf wear, slazenger, boss, lacoste, wearing bright colours,r.i.p a true legend
Very good shout mate. Legend full stop . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
When I was on the 9th today I had a little chat with the group in front of me, we all agreed its a great loss, and then I went on to shank it into the trees!
