just got back this morning...was away for 17 days. Loved the place,,arrived in the capital San Jose on the easter weekend and everything was closed...not a great start cos i was choking for a beer,,,luckily the mini bar was well stocked. Its still a deveolping country so its still a bit backward in certain things but all adds tae the experience imo.Traveled from there tae Quepos which is a small town on the coast just below Manuel Antonio where i was staying.Quepos is the local area and most tourists are from the US...never seen another Brit the whole time i was there.I loved the place,,,very slow pace of life and nae cunt in a rush...cheap enough for food and drink and the local food is great.....lots of fresh fruit and seafood. It was toasting from 8am till very late on.It has the best beaches ive ever seen...and being the token jock abroad i got fried on ma first day at the beach....idiot.Some lovely high class hotels and at the same time some local joints.Went down the local areas and some are no better than slums but it was good tae see the real costa rica,,,and seen that again on ma way through san jose on the way home,,,,,some very dodgy parts....all in a top trip and i will be back....
i have pics but im thick as fook and canny put them up.....ill try and get some help and put them up....there is some on ma facebook page....

Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
