im not so sure, if players have become unsettled under one manager, and theirs a bit of tension in the air, that can be cleared by a new manager, players are fickle cunts at times.
reached for the secret too soon, cried for the moon.
Hodgson is better at at lower half club in my opinion. He gives them belief and they turn into a top half team, just like Fulham. I reckon he will make WBA a good team who will be near the top half next year.
TBH i blame the players. I know it can be shit to work under a "lousy" boss but they should be proffesional enough to perform way better than they did eventhough the might hate their manager
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.

With you there, I reckon a few of the Liverpool players thought they were bigger than the boss. Under Dagleish that sort of attitude is pretty much impossible.
Liverpool are a big club and expect their manager to be either a former player of the team or a big name,RH wasn't either so didn't have their respect. He will do well at WBA and good luck to him

to be honest, I don't think anyone came out of the whole affair looking too well. Hodgson, the players or the fans (awaits onslaught of Pool supporters on here ). I mean that the Liverpool fans simply showed they aren't really that different when it comes to their treatment of a manager they don't want/like and hence blotted 'the liverpool way' copybook somewhat. Interestingly, when I've asked some Pool lads about this, they've said it's a case of 'desperate times/desperate measures' and only Souness suffered similarly.
That said, I'd heard via a mate who's friends with one of the old NI Fulham players that Woys ways were immensely disliked but no-one spoke out publicly because they were getting results and didn't want to risk their place particularly given the UEFA Cup run they were on.
As for the modern day footballer..........yeah, don't really need to say much.
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
Hodgson was a dead man walking at Liverpool, he was basically put in charge as a quick fix, to stop the rot. The fan's, players or if the truths known the board didn't really want him there. He's proved at West Brom he is still capable of cutting it in the Premiership...........given the right players to work with.
it was desperate times we got pasted by wolves and blackburn which was a joke but certain players let themselves down 2 i feel
Selling Torres for £50 million and buying Suarez who so far has looked top quality was great business. King Kenny is getting the respect that Woy didnt.
Well, I tell them there's no problem Only solutions
