IF YOU WANT A PICTURE OF THE FUTURE, IMAGINE A BOOT STAMPING ON A HUMAN FACE ---FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep going pal, I gave up 13 years ago. What worked for me was changing habits like where you go for your break at work, I bought a new car and didn't want it to smell of smoke so that helped. I also brushed my teeth about 58 times a day to keep my mouth feeling fresh. Must be easier now you can't smoke in pubs. Good luck.
I've been stopped two and a half years and there are times when I could eat one. Those moments only last a few seconds though so no problem really. I've also put weight on so get ready to renew your wardrobe!
I smoked dope for almost 20 years, not every day but most. I gave up the day my missus found out she was pregnant, probably had no more than ten spliffs since then, and none for at least 4 years, so you see mox, its a piece of piss......................

I was the same as you mac for about 5 years. 3 of them years smoking a henry of bud a day
Gave up weed very easily once I got it in my head.
i smoked hash for 15 years....smoked a lot of hash everyday...gave it up 5 year ago...dont miss it at all.....but really missing a smoke when im drinking.....but said i would stop so im determined to.....
4 days for me, must be catching. nae to bad so far, i always struggle at the month point for some reason, did stop for 2 years once, must have tried a good 10 times so far, fuckin cigars were my downfall last time
I reckon there will always be a time when you want one but it does get easier.
The benefits far outweigh the negatives.
Keep on giving up
if i know it gets easier then i can handle it.....but i really like smoking....but i know its the best thing tae dae....
Honestly, it does get easier.
It isn't easy and even after a month you can get the pangs and just end up back on it but that is worse (imo) as you think you can just give up any time.
I always used to joke about how good I was at giving up as I had done it loads of times.

ive gave up before because i thought 'i can give up anytime'.....which clearly i cant.....so making a go of it this time.....i have a packet in the house right now....and im choking for a smoke.....but ive got some chicken im eating instead.....
I have been on the tabs for 25 years , the longest quit time I did was 3 years, during that time I said and thought I'd never smoke again, the chemical addiction to tabacco hauled me back,my weak will power and the mass amount of cash I had from not smoking for 3 years didn't help. But it is possible, I know loads of ex smokers/dakers who havn't touched it for years ,its at a point now it only me stood outside in the fucking rain smoking. Good look mate
I have a goal of June 2nd and cutting down week by week. Set it at one an hour first week (which is low numbers for me) and have been easy at going on for 2.5 hours without one. In an 8 hour work day I usually smoked a pack and today worked 10.5 hours and had a total of 6
Monday I go for a max of 1 every 2 hours ( which will be easy I think as I'm almost doing that now)
3rd week max 1 every 4 hours then the 2nd I'm done.
This with also working out at the gym 3 days a week and mountainbiking 3 times a week seems to be working.
Oddly enough I've been eating a bit healthier as well.
allen carrs eays way to stop smoking excellent book you can pick it up on ebay for a few quid well worth getting also when I feel like I want to smoke I stand near someone who is smoking and ask myself do I want to smell like that again.
Yeah I agree with the lads on here about that Alan Carr book, not a smoker myself but have heard alot of good reports on it!!!! Keep it up fella..... It's all in the head!
stopped last October, had a couple when I have been on the sauce, regretted it in the morning though, its always been all or nothing with me, so easy to go back to 20 a day, so try not to smoke at all, always feel rough the next day when I have wobbled and smoked,
keep it it up though, very rarely think about it now
