It's a load of little narrow streets with bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and that. proper vibe down there. Better than the identikit town centre.

The Lanes....the place is buzzing!........stay away from the pier and seafront....full of all sorts of wankers.

Excellent spanish restaurant / tapas place in the lanes name escapes me but San something or other. Donatellos is s a pretty decent Italian. The seafood place just off the main road always looks good.
Good place Brighton, always a good atmosphere there, very different from most UK cities

went the pier where me mrs revealed an insane competitive streak on that race game where you through balls in holes. i thought she was going to chin someone after she won, she stopped just short of shouting 'who wants some?'. beach was freezing, mooch round the lanes - really good, need to go again i think. some good record shops. had a few drinks then had our tea at the dorset street bar and very nice it was too, then home on the train. cant whack the super saver returns either for a tenner (they dont advertise them on the websites, you have to ask.

This is probably stating the obvious but make sure you check out peggs and son. Great shop with a quality service.
