Did not realise how good a player/striker Cloughie must have been before injury finished his career at 27.

Better goals to games ratio than Jimmy Greaves.
With Middleboro and Sunderland - not sure what division they were in .
251 goals in 274 games and only got 2 caps for Engerland.

They were second divison. Although much less of a divide back then than there is now - there was still loyalty in the game. Clough was an exceptional player.

Great film and book but totally inaccurate to how it really was at Leeds and Derby under Clough's rule.

It was fiction based on some fact. never meant to be a true biopic. It's a shame that Giles and Mackay sued in my mind. But I can understand why.
