The funny thing is you often hear managers slating players who want to move to another club and ask where their loyalty is and yet here is Alex McLeish who just relegated Brum but they stayed loyal to him and kept him on as manager and then as soon as he gets a sniff at a 'bigger' job he walks away to Brum's biggest rivals.

Oh yeah I remember where Cheslsea used to be, went there with United in the 80s. You've kind of proved my point here. Why employ a young manager who has new ideas etc and then tell him who to buy and who to play? Oh and then sack him when he fails to win the European cup. No, you never said you approved but you didn't state your opposition to it neither. To be fair this Villas-Boas has worked for Abramovich before so he knows what he's walking into and I get the impression he knows it'll be a short-term job but one that he'll get very well paid for. Easy money.

But they're not exactly on the breadline like many of us who work for a living . Had Mourihno stayed , I'm 100% certain Chelsea would have won the CL . Not a statement that could have been made many a year ago . All clubs are being gobbled up by Russians / Americans / Arabs .
Utd / Liverpool / City ... no difference , and they all want success , don't think City will show much patience if trophies dont start rolling in .
My days as a fan are over , I wont go anymore , was a member and travelled length and breadth , but I wont pay these daft prices .. I look back and tell fondly my son stories of yesteryear ..
