Well I walked round to work this morning and I'm glad I did.....2 others have so far made it in aswell and they've both had bumps in their cars...one in particular looks to have been a fair old shunt (into a bollard ).....I dunno what it's like where you are but in Glasgow it's fookin ice all over....be careful Gents !!!!
Well I have defiantly got away with most of it. Been freezing and a lot of black ice on the roads, Had about 2 inches if that of snow but a lot of ice. Had to leave one of the cars at home as its rear wheel drive and struggles even with a lot of added weight in the boot. Been out gritting the side roads near me. Going off track a bit hear but really pisses me this. People grit their drives and leave the road, whats that about. Never mind I will do the road for you.
Like you say be careful, drive slow and not to close.
Nice quick 2.5hr jaunt across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire to work this morning. I'm sure the journey home will be just as much fun
all the streets in edinburgh are like an ice rink. got woken up this morning to the sound of this bloke in his car trying to get out of his parking space.
tried to do it for about 20 mins before he took the shovel out of his car....
all the snows gone now, but icy as fook, both days this week ive come close to sliding on my arse in the middle of the town centre, would be embarrassing to say the least.
