It would seem that he was out on bail for another suspected burglary, obviously a nice sort. There may be more to this story than meets the eye, four blokes ballied-up etc etc, but where do you stand on this? Does a home-owner have the right to defend his property even if it means killing an intruder? I personally believe that you should be allowed to defend your home and family within it by any means necessary. Make the law clear and burglars may think twice about trying to rob you or would they change the way they work and come tooled-up just in case they gey disturbed?

makes sense to me. I guess the law is quite particular about this - killing someone when he is in your house menacing you and your family is one thing, but chasing him into the street and killing him while he is running away is something else etc. PLus when there is a killing they must have a due process involving questioning the killer etc.
Thought this wasn't as clear cut as it seemed when it was reported. Four blokes in balaclavas trying to break your door down at half eleven at night doesn't seem like your normal burglary to me
It doesn't sound like a normal robbery more like targeted attack on a rival drug dealer or something. But then again no sympathy for the bloke that got stabbed and what a fine bunch of mates he had leaving him in the road to die. It will be interesting to hear what comes of this.
Sounds like the Police have nicked one of the balaclava clad lot, they have arrested a 30 year old man on attempted robbery. I wonder what this no mark has ever contributed to society.
And that smug cunt Cameron is right in the middle of trying to make himself popular by tweaking the law on this. A home owner should have the right to defend himself, his property and faaaaaaaaaamily.
