Is there such thing as a free website ? The reason being for this is i have tried working as a temp and had a few jobs of recent but all take the piss one way or the other not scared of work but there is taking the piss and taking the piss..... So i have decided once again to start up on my own back tiling and bathroom fitting, rather earn pennies and do something i enjoy and be happy So looking at starting back up but on a real basic budget not the most computer littrate person to say the least... but wondered if there is anyway to get a free website up and running or a very cheap way round it. Any help would be appreicated Not been happy since being off the tools is what it comes down to !
Karl you can set up a blog and play around with it and manipulate the features so it is more or less a website. other than that you would be looking between £75 - £200 depending on design of site and what you need, I would put up adverts on local forums or the tradesmen boards and then if work takes off then put a website together
I used to have a website on msn live it didn't cost anything but I seem to remember that you put in your card details but they only take money a year latter if you want to carry it on. There is also a website in a box that you can buy from whsmith and other places not to sure how that works?

Better off setting up a facebook page. Got mates who are tradesmen and they've had more joy via that. Get your mates to promote you. A website is worthwhile but no point in laying out if you can use facebook for free.
