One of my mates is in the process of trying to get us some free tickets. If he gets them I'll go for the friday night and just come home on the saturday.

yeah i only really want to go for the Saturday. im also getting mine for owt haha.
i got absolutely fuckin drenched last year, never seen rain like it haha
I didn't think it was too bad last year but sepnt most of the time in the campsite. This year's meant to be rain all weekend but that won't matter when you're wrecked.
Zitat von MattCyeah im sat at home too. what a fun bunch of guys we are.
Fuck it. With the amount of scum floating about at t in the park nowadays unless you stay in a hotel in perth or do the VIP camping it gets on your tits.
I'm not really sure of all this pressure, I'm never gonna lose any of my old letters, 'Cause they'll stay with me, Until I can see that I'm no one
Standing in the rain surrounded by a bunch of weegie scrotums chanting "T IN THE... T IN THE... T IN THE FUCKING PARK!!!" while getting beer and piss thrown over me, while trying to stay on my feet, is certainly not my idea of a good time.
I was tempted to buy a day ticket to go and see OFWGKTA on the NME stage today.. but as much as I love them, I couldn't justify the price or enduring the amount of pricks that go.
Zitat von MattCOdd future and swedish house mafia were the only 2 i was interested in.
might try to get to manchester to see OF, but I think tyler is in a cast just now so i dunno how that will affect their performance.....
A bird i know put photos of a gig in London from a few days back and he was in crutches. The rest would still be going off their tits but. I love this photo:
I really wanted to see the arctic monkeys, they're playing secc in november but secc is shite.
The campsite is what makes titp, someone should just organise a massive piss up in a campsite and charge half the price.
Just spent a week at Roskilde Festival (Denmark's Glastonbury) for the fifth year in a row. This year I had an ordinary ticket, the last few years I've had access to the media village through my job at Vice so it was a tough week in campsite showers, toilets, no access to the fun places etc. But it was brilliant, heard loads of great music, met a nice girl and the weather was alright as well.
Among the best concerts were the Strokes, Nicolas Jaar, Charles Bradley, James Blake (not normally a fan but what a concert!) and Lykke Li.
Also saw Odd Future but I'm not really a fan, but it seemed as if people loved it. Watched it from a distance and it looked absolutely crazy. Gotta give them credit for living up to the hype. The music is still very boring in my opinion.
Of course a german loony had to ruin the whole thing and commit suicide on the last day. Jumped out from this tower in front of loads of people.

Zitat von ryanDidn't know you worked for vice M, what did you do there? Like Vice, it can be a bit hit and miss but when it's good, it's really good.
I don't work there anymore but worked there until I moved to London. In the beginning I distributed the magazine, put up posters etc, but in the end I did advertising, was head of the distribution, occasionally helped organize parties and wrote a few album reviews as well. It was fun but didn't pay very well, but that's not really what it's about anyway. Loads of good experiences and obviously theres a few advantages as well, such as tickets for Roskilde festival etc. Met some of the people who works at the office in London, it seems to be a ruthless place. Same goes for new york, my friend worked there for 6 months and said it was fun but horrible at the same time. So much competition as everyone is trying to come up with a story that's better than the others.
