It's makes more economic sense to run The Sun for 7 days rather than two outfits. And although Murdoch Snr. is a newspaper man and keeps The Times going despite £44 million annual loss. The Sun/NOTW made £40 million. Murdoch Jnr was brought up running the satellite division of News Corp. and they need the remaining part of BSkyB. Digital is where the money is not the printed word.

Just to let you know I'm a political with slight left leaning tendencies. I fucking hate the Conservative party.

I am extrememly happy the NOTW is shutting and am pleased the police have moved onto the Star. Next stop the daily mail and the sdunday mail which is such reactionary toss it really makes me angry. It has shaped modern life - for the worse IMHO.

Anyhoo a few things - fuck the journos who have lost there jobs, majority free lance anyway and they will get more work. This whole Coulson thing is mental and listening to Cameron trying to bluff his way through is a joke. I'm curious about WHY he employed him or was he ASKED to employ?
