Recently got into the history of Antarctic/Everest expeditions and can't get enough it. Started reading a few books and just watched 'The Wildest Dream', just wondering if anyone has any documentary recommendations?
The best thing about Cabourn is that it's made me seek out where his influences have come from. I've come across some truly brilliant tales and photos because of it.
Zitat von ryanI've got this but I've yet to read it:
Have you seen 'Touching the void' yet?
Nice one Ryan. Sounds good so I've just started downloading it. I picked up High Adventure for £2 on Amazon, looking forward to reading it.
Aye i got it cheap on ebay, an old hardback copy. Touching the void is a classic film even if you aren't interested in the mountaineering aspect of it, just a really good film.
as u know im not a fan of cabourn personally but if its got you interested in seeking his influences and stuff out then thats a great thing to many brands do stuff for no reason and no thought for the customer
