cant see the big deal over having the same sponsor to be honest but people are going absolutly barmy about it, only hope it doesnt lead us down the road of one day merging...
I actually think its a good idea. Not a merger but a little cooperation.
Sheffield is a large city and football wise not the best these days no matter who you support. Making a cooperation between United and Wednesday might help both clubs getting bigger and healthier.
If one of the clubs get out stronger from this short term then they will drag the other club with them and a city the size of Sheffield needs that imo

Not really opposed to it, I think local companies have obviously been put off in the past as by sponsoring one team you could be splitting your customer base. Probably similar scenario in Glasgow
EDIT: And as I said in the other thread, the new team will be called Sheffield City FC and play at a refurbished 60k capacity Stadium Don Valley. The ghost of Derek Dooley will be the manager, with his wooden leg as his assistant
