went years ago so may have changed now but when i went it was really hot and really really quiet, compared to the other Canary Islands especially. probably be right up your street if you just wanna chillax!!!
Went earlier on this year. Couldn't knock it as a place, went AI for the first time and that wasn't for me, but as a nice quiet little resort i would say it would do you well. would go back just stay self catering next time.

it was average really, all edible and a few decent meals but when i go on holiday more after a big fuck off steak like. still the price was right and it was good to try it. all comes down to the hotel i suppose. like i say couldn't fault the area (corralejo) and for taking the wife and a young kid i would say crack on.
I went once, around 15 years ago, quiet place, but I thought the food was good in the restaurants. Unless you re usually a pie and chips man, you ll find plenty of decent place to eat, cant comment on the all-inclusives though

tbh mate i prefer the south, the beaches in jandia are top notch, the only downside is its windy as fuck most of the time.We have been a few times plenty of germans knocking about but they demand the best and wont put up with any old shite.
Went there one new year for a family holiday - had a nice chilled out time - fantastic sandy beaches and all year round >20 deg C temps, may be a bit hot Summertime with the little 'un though ?? It's certainly far removed from Playas In Tenerife...
Just got back from my 3rd time out there. It's a decent place, food and drink is v.expensive out there though... We(5 of us) bombed £2k+ easily in 11 days
Won't be returning though as we've been enough times now though.
