As I've always either had jackets with hoods or worn a hat I've very rarely needed one of these in the past. Only ever had fairly basic black ones to use for work but as I drive most places not real much for that either.

I'm wearing a few smarter mac-type jackets recently and want to get myself a decent brolly but not sure where to start. I'm looking for a small-ish one that doesn't have a hook handle - definately not a McLaren-esque golf type or a city gent type.

Ideally it would be navy blue so any suggestions? Over to you.

The M&S near me is really small - only had two black ones in that were too 'worklike'.

Anything from lost property would be good - no doubt I'll only pass it on when I'm drunk as a brolly is just one more thing to forget.

I've got an aquascutum one. Long one with a handle. Looks good just carrying it about. Not so much with it up, but hey it stops me getting wet. Normally for work when I'm walking to the station.
