Liked him a lot as a player and a bloke, never really understood stick he got. Think hes a pretty decent pundit, better than most. Been telling a few people today how much sense Merson talks, think he was spot on about how Arsenal set out today and how they should act in transfer market (paying a bit more instead of being stubborn). Doubt he'll get credit he deserves for his analysis cos its Merson but he certainly knows what hes talking about.

To be fair i was expecting him to be pro United in his analysis but he has been pretty neutral so far plenty of time for that to change,not keen on him because he has slagged Liverpool off in the past & i hate his Mancunian accent

no shit sherlock, dont know about the wouldnt of played for england bit though, there are players from outside the so called top 4 clubs that have played for england you know, so in nevilles era tell me lets say 2 better right backs than neville.
