If you can ever get to Tokyo for a holiday just do it, honestly you will not regret it. Its superb.

I want to go to Tokyo more than any other place in the world, life goal, hopefully before I die!!

I will go to Tokyo in business later this month and plan to take some days off. Any recommendations about things to see and do? Any ideas of where find shops like R Newbold, Real McCoy, POST O'ALLS? Finding the shops using their websites and google maps, hopeless. Any good clubs or pubs? Or recordshops for that matter. I'm mostly into original rocksteady, reggae and ska vinyl. Dubstore seems to be quite central. I'll be staying in Shibuya.

I've spoken with a few of the soul collectors from Japan. The depth of their knowledge is incredible and I would say some of the very best collections will be in Japan.

They shipped over huge amounts of records from America in the 60s.

Tokyo is a place i'd love to go to as well. And also see some of the Japanese countryside on the same trip.

Its certainly on the list of things to do.
