Not an app but you can use liveonlinefooty although less choice of games than on the laptop
If your phones not jailbroken, there's a website called pandaapp (you may have heard of it, you may not) but yeah all apps on there are free, im on android myself and picked up some.decent ones!
You should have Whatsapp: free texting. And ofcourse you should have your iPhone jailbroken. Not only for the free apps, but to tweak it as well. There are lots off great apps that aren't available in App Store...
I already enjoyed the wonders of SSN, Natwest, eBay, paypal, trainline and facebook. Been trying out the delights of Red Laser, skype, tubemap and ESPN Goals tonight. Not too big on computer games, never was, so i'll skip the golfing one (might try monopoly though) - do have a FIFA 11 app (I remember this boards very own Rhys, playing it on a flight home from Switzerland once and thought it looked good) for when im really bored!! Talking of flights for those of you who mentioned Trainline, if you fly a lot of places too, might want to check out skyscanner. Gotten some dirt cheap flights on that lately!
