Heading to London in a couple of weeks to see Millwall play (not my choice) but looking for decent pubs/clubs to head to at night.

We'll be down Friday and Saturday night flying back to Glasgow Sunday afternoon.

So have a couple of full days to kick about the city any advice would be good as last time I was in London was almost 10 years ago and can't rememeber much about it.

Oxford Street for shopping , Carnaby Street nearby , you got Selfridges , and many other good shops all on there .

You could do a pub crawl from Tower Bridge along the Thames Path to Waterloo Bridge.

Canary Wharf plenty of good bars and pubs over there, also a night club aswell

Got to HOXTON plenty of good stuff to do and drink pubs are packed good eating too.

Bloody hell, i wouldn't know where to start...

what sort of clubs/pubs/shops are you into?

shoreditch for shops.
west end for clubs if youre feeling cool

Buy a copy of Time Out for clubs and you can choose something to suit your tastes.

What are you into shopwise ?

Never thought of Time Out good shout, I like a laid back pub.

As for clothing I want to check out Hideout, into brands like YMC, APC, Real McCoys, Stussy, Norse, Comme Des Garcons, Orginal Fake, I guess 'Street Wear' would cover it.

convent garden always a good chilled vibe down there

if you're only down for a couple of days, I'd stay central in the areas metioned above; carnaby st, covent gdn etc plenty of good pubs and shopping to be had in a smallish area

My personal advice, and take it or leave it im sure you will enjoy it wherever you go. Avoid central London. Too many tourists.

Shoreditch/Hoxton has everything you need. Better Shops, Restaurants, Pubs, Bars, Clubs. And Better people.

if the 100 club is on when you are there go to that.

shoreditch was quite good about 15 years ago, wednesday nights down the Blue Note etc
