Tackling is proper hard. Shooting is trickier than 2011. Every touch (pass/through-ball/shot) needs a little more power than 2011. Collisions are an annoyance. Its much slower...............
It's a fabulous game, I really like the addition of scouting and youth squads. Defending is really, really hard though, but much more realistic so it's a plus.
I have changed it back to legacy defending, better now...You can still jockey etc though....
Started a career with Aberdeen, not played online yet will get a few more practises in..the transfer window in management mode is great when it comes to deadline day etc....Also nice touch with the messages you get from players from time to time popping up..Also alot more information about team etc available than 11 in manager mode...
I had 220k to spend strating the career with Aberdeed lol, about 3 loan signings and 5 free transfers virtually later team in shaping up...Got a 35 year old Kanu in the team...:)

I've started managing Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie and playing the games myself on Professional. Getting used to the defending now but still occasionally lose games against the better teams.
And like Kuffdam said, just hold them off, block their passing lanes and only go in for the tackle when you're pretty much sure you'll get the ball.
Fifa 12 i played on PRO level. so far on 12 i have turned it down to semi pro......See how it goes..If in my career all teams are pish easy will turn it back up again.
Played online, it's better than against the mind reading computer. You o up against a player of similar rubishness and a team of similar rubbishness. Leaguebof ten games with promotion and relegation. Drew one and lost two, including 3-2 after going two up against olympiacos. Man I was swearing after that one
On ultimate team, I'm all over the CPU, then they run down the pitch, have one shot and score. I lost 2-0 to Chelsea this morning, I had 17 shots and 13 on target, they had 2 shots 2 on target.
