Went to Beans last night M.B. tried on the boots,left them there,Made in El Savador,not that great to be honest.Freed up $179 + tax. Quoddy the way forward I reckon.Wrighty then hit up for Cameraman.

I often think that about LL Bean, they look alright, but I bet they don't feel the same as a pair of Quoddys. Even from the pics the leather doesn't seem close

depends on the line you get I think. The heritage stuff isn't as good as Quoddys but is far better than the likes of Clarks, Sebago etc whilst the normal line is probably on a par.
