why didn't Gradi manage at a higher level?? Often heard it said it was his, er how shall we put this, his interests outside of football were frowned upon.
he's one of the best in the lower leagues..and has built Crewe from nowhere and made them a substantial Football Club..even being in the top 5 of the Championship was fantastic..producing the likes of Dean Ashton, Danny Murphy, Rob Hulse, Rob Jones..to name a few! yeah he's never been married..a lot of rumours of him being gay..wouldn't surprise me. often invites the youth players back to his house..very Michael Jackson esque!
