Off out in Loonypool for a mates' 40th next weekend, got a nice restaurant sorted, got a room booked in the Hilton, know a few bars to go... Any ideas of a decent club / latebar that's got a dancefloor where I can throw a few shapes etc ?
Funky house, fairly uplifting music, dressed up but not pretentious crowd ?? Ex Cream-head me (from 90's obviously) and my lot are all part of the chemical generation... Will be in Albert Dock most of the evening....
Baby Cream on the docks has some very tidy birds as does Circo - both are a bit on the smarter side and music wise it won't be ground breaking but should still be danceable etc. Love going out in the Pool, class city and people.
Had a few nights in Liverpool. Very little memory, but I remember there being a pretty decent DJ on in some tequila bar at the time. Can't remember the name of it though.
Last time I was in Liverpool, I ended up in Garlands or somewhere. I suspect it was a lezbo club, I was too high to notice. Also went in a well weird club called Fudge, then ended up running around liverpool one for some reason. Going next week so hopefully I'll actually be able to have a proper night out.

That'd be Ca Va I reckon, few knackered sofas upstairs but not much else by way of seating?

Aye, that's the one. Had a good selection of reggae, soul and funk records going. This is about 4 or 5 years ago though.
Granted I haven't lived there for 5 years, but there MUST be something better than revolution?! Capital of culture ffs! Heebie jeebies? An old mate of mine owns a place called Santa chupito's, supposed to be good.
