I have noticed recently that lots of auctions are getting ended early by those cunts at ebay for "spamming titles".

Have had about 10 taken down in the last week. Really pissed me off. I was getting good money for my items and surely that is a positive for ebay as they are going to get 10% of it?

Every time I am getting accused of spamming. Are ebay clamping down hard on this or are other users alerting ebay?

I am personally quite fond of spamming titles, because when you type in the likes of "Albam" or whatever you get alerted of much more goods on ebay you are interested in that you would not search for.

Is this happening to anybody else on here?

My account is suspended at the minute for continued 'spamming'. When I log in it trys to make me do a quiz on ebay rules and regulations so ive given up with the place for good. Wish there was some competition to ebay's monopoly...

tbh i dont like the spamming titles. I can see it from a sellers pov but its frustrating when searching for something specific

Were your listings scheduled or were they put on straight away? All mine were scheduled. Could be a correlation here...

put on straight away but it took a day or two before they were removed.

Yeah mine were taken down like 3 days in.

I really don't understand ebays logic. Spamming gets them more money.

i also dont understand why my entire watchlist consists of items that have been spammed... none of them are removed?!

This happened to me once with about 6 auctions literally hours before they were finishing. The stupidest thing was though I had about three others with the exact same title that didn't get removed.

I can't remember if i used the same listing but I remember not getting the same amount as I was going to. Cunts.

do you still get charged the listing fee's and all that if they remove it?

Its bollox when searching for stuff and cunts put adidas london munchen athen etc

yes

mine removed 1 day before end. just had another removed this morning. Took the bloody quiz got 0/10 due to not reading questions and still got to relist it. cunts. spamming does piss me off when searching yet i still do it.

I got warned about it about 2 days before the end of one of my auctions and they said they wouldn't be taking it down, just a warning.......Sold a few things since using the same teqnique and fuck all's been done.

I'd my WWM parka taken down last night and had to run through that quiz this morning to get it listed again. Last night someone made an offer on it - one I'd already rejected 3 days ago. Then, 10 mins later my listing is taken down....

Just pot luck i think, hasn't happened to me recently but it's happened a few times in the past

Same here

I prefer spammed titles and use words in my search such as "oi polloi" exactly for that reason.
