Will have a whirl later of it, had a few records throughout the years probably the finest being his reworks of Saint Etiennes love can break your heart, played it when we played with Greg Wilson this year and it was loved, he did a load of indie dance reworks for the Mondays and New Order, I had some of his stuff for The Sabres Of Paradise too as Wilmots Last Skank was pretty big in the big beat sound mid 90's which I used to play, I'm sure he was something to do with Chemical Brothers rise too ? as they were all around the Big Beat at that time along with Norman Cook and Krafty, Cut La Roc etc moving on from acid house and indie dance into that, I kind of veered off 97ish though and went back into original breaks and northern soul, funk and latin, he's had quite a career though eh, a nice life if you can get it.
Quote by GelseSee, I love the Two Lone Swordsman stuff.
The Radioactive man Fabric mix is top notch.
Ill give you that, I dipped out after Return to Flightpath estate and Skimming not swimming? Still got them Both, wonder if there worth out as there quite scarce now. Some of his remixes worth top drawer, the new order regret ones in particular.
Never rated him as a remixer or dj, heard him loads of times over the years and he has always been so-so, he has not an ounce of funk in his entire body.
Disliked Primal Scream and all that watered down indie stuff.
Quote by dylansmokebelch is an anthem. Classic track particulary like the beatless mix and then mixing it straight into the regular mix to keep it going....

The real deal, not some bleached rip off:
well i've never heard that before. Makes me see smokebelch in a different light..... its a blatent rip off.
all this was just before my time on the house scene. I missed the best years. undefined
^ The guy who wrote it did get writing credits/royalties from Smokebelch or some of it!
Here are a few of his comments of
"Yes your right, BUT ...The TRUE STORY OF ...is...LOOK DEEPER! 1 example...THEE original CAFE DEL MAR CD/ALBUM release. Now READ who is listed as the writer...I'll give U a hint, there are 3 names, and none are with the intials L & B. So with THAT knowledge, WHO DO YOU THINK GOT PAID BY WHO's PUBLISHER? Want MORE examplessssssssssss? (thats an honest sarcasm! -the question of wanting MORE xamples) ANYBODY got questions? write me. I THANK U all (& Andy) 4 LISTENING!!"
"credited as songwriter in SOME of the MANY releases!

"2January 09 Mr. BAD here. AW did have my name as writer on SAB original. WELL, some versions. So I did get, well, some money. NOT much compared2what SAB got! I ONLY asked him for A gig at HIS monthly. If ANYone heard/seen me play at his YEARS gone on monthly PUT YA HANDS UP! Look AW, nobodies hands are UP. & I wonder who got spiritual off of that UK tv show LOVED UP? FORGOT MY NAME THERE TOO? Well, let your LOVE LIGHT shine, I ain´t hatin...just disappointed in many of U humans! P.O.D"
Am sure we can all draw our own conclusions from that!
One might be that a white UK producer with a bit of label muscle behind him and a lot of magazines/djs up his arse could rip off a black American producer who was relatively unknown!! Up to you
