Yeah definately, she and he will be off home to get on with their lives. Thing about it is I remember watching a programme with Americas top forensic expert with 40 odd years experience on the job. Reviewing this case and evidence, he said he was 100% sure she was guilty of the crime. Along with other forensic evidence, one of the major things that sticks in my mind was him saying about their story of blaming a burglar, who broke in and then killed her when he was interrupted. Always sticks in mind about the major flaw in that story being that entry wasn't in fact through the window from the outside... as the window was broken outwards from the inside, with all the indications showing that the glass was in fact smashed from the inside after she had died due to blood splatters on the glass lying outside. I guess the only people who know the truth are the people who are free now, and lets face it, they will take it to the grave. R.I.P Meredith.
I've followed this story a bit and the thing I find oddest is how many times Knox has slightly changed her story - maybe it's just the way its been reported but there seems to be some huge gaps. Must be gutting for Meredith Kercher's family and it hardly puts the Italian justice system in the most positive light. reckon there'll be a n OJ Simpson type 'how I'd have gotten away with it (had I done it)' book out in a year or two?
Think the Italian legal system is different to ours in that the judge reviews the weakest evidence in an appeal and found the emphasis on the dna to be too unreliable (the italian plod had made some very basic errors in securing the dna and then relied on it heavily). Lots of what has come from Amanda Knox has appeared to be contradictory and all over the shop. That may be down to the reporting as well but she's always seemed to be a bit flaky to me. She'll be entitled to a fair whack of compensation now let alone the book/film etc etc
thing is , say you are totally 100% innocent , charged with murder in a foreign country , not think you'd be all over the place ? more and more coming out about the bungled way they collected evidence , bra clasp - 6 weeks after the murder ... she may well be guilty , but it's poor Italian policing that's now let her free ..

Couldn't agree more, I'd be in a state. But her behaviour didnt seem to match that. Difficult to express on a forum. Maybe she is 100% innocent. Or maybe not 100% guilty (possibly somewhere in between). Definately poor policing thats ended where it did, a lot of unanswered questions on both sides, talk of political influence from Berlusconi over the judicial system in Italy lots more to come out yet I reckon
Definitely not 100% innocent, lied to many times, changed her story, blamed others etc. Had she just broken down from the off and said I wasn't there then that would have meant potentially 100% innocent unless they proved she was there etc.... fit mind ;-)
TBH I dont have a clue. Sure she changed her story a few times but main things in her story kept straight, it was mainly smaller details that changed from what i read.
Think if you are jailed in a foreign country where you might not speak the language fully then its easy to slip on details or get misunderstood.
Do I think she is innocent ? Well not completely but alot of DNA evidence got thrown out of court and i hope for Italy and EU that the justical system in Berlusconi-land is good enough to be right on this one.
Still feel sorry for the murdered girls parents but also feel sorry for a young girl who has been in a foreign prison for a couple of years seemingly wrongly convicted
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.

Bravo! Sexy chicks deserve to be free
You don't think she was sexy do you? She's rotten! Plus I read in a couple of articles she had very low standards of hygiene - which I took to meant she had a stinking gash.

I wouldn't say it was just the smaller details she changed. She pointed the finger at Kerchers boss, Lumumba, and he ended up losing his business, etc...even though completely exonarated. That's not down to misunderstanding the lingo. Very hard to understand her behaviour if she was 100% innocent.
All in all, if anything I'm more sceptical about the roles each government played in the judicial process.....
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."

Yuck.
she seems to have lost a bit of lustre now she's not in lezprison serving hard lez-time, with extreme lez-prejudice
Guilty as sin IMO - Looked dodgy as fook at the time she was initially charged, very weird the way she acted but what do I know ?? Where the hell did this gash story emerge from, sounded a "game" girl though :-) not worth a throat slashing for though...
Before she was arrested, when asked by one of the victims friends if she thought she had suffered in the attatck her reply was, and I quote 'She had her fucking throat cut, she bled to death'

Probably yeah, but I wouldn't be doing cartwheels and the splits in the police station corridor a few hours after my room-mate had had her throat cut. I'm not saying she is a murderer but she knows something about what happened. She will end up a right rich bitch with all the TV/Film/Book deals she will get as well.
