I did E's late 80's early 90's & then again in the late 90's. Bought my first E for £25 off a bloke outside the Empire in Leicester Square. The only differences that i notice between the older & newer E's were that the trips lasted longer with the old & i didn't need to keep necking them so often to remain 'up there'. Also the come downs were a lot different, witht he old E's i would feel quite clean after a weekend bang on them but with the newer pills i felt absolutely filthy from the inside out. I suppose thats the reason i knocked them on the head.
I think the most i ever took would have been around 10 in a 24 hour period in the late 90's - late 80's the pills we were buying 4 would last you a weekend.

I'm not sure where I sit with this, but I will say one thing and I believe that alcohol is a hell of a lot worse on a much larger scale, I don't have any right in saying this and I don't want to come over as hypocritical regarding drink drugs or violence etc but there's no way cocaine or heroin should ever be allowed into the system, there's a line and I'm not saying it as a personal thing but more of a view from my daughters futures, pubs and bars are full of dickheads who get pissed up and want the world, how often does it go off when your in pubs/bars etc ? Now ask how many times things turn nasty in clubs when people in there are on MDMA of some sort ? Not many, although I think ketamine could change that as things can turn very different, people change on drink, people change on coke, personally it wouldn't bother me if drink was wiped out, there's lots of different voices to listen to and I don't think drugs will ever be legalised or controlled.

First time i took pill properly (taken them once before but was a dud pill) i accidentally took about 8 at once. My mate had a bag with them in, loads of different kinds but he had been sitting on it and it was crushed. He handed the bag to me and said 'you want one' meaning for me to dip the bag with the tip of my finger but i necked the lot thinking it was one pill. That night was amazing but the comedown was unreal, that kind of put me off pills. I have taken them since but always think of that time and ask myself if i can be bothered with a come down.
Drug takers shouldn't take the piss out of people who don't want to do it ' you aint lived you pussy blah blah ' but on the flip side non drug takers shouldn't thing they're better than folk who take them, taking the morale high ground ect, all down to personal choice I suppose.

flirted with bits in the past....but not my thing....much prefer a good drink! dont touch owt these days due to medication i have to take plus our lass would string me up
