Quote by Gelse[quote="redmond"] funny av never rated the beatles
Revolver was an album like nothing else before. Looping guitar and drum tracks really pushing the technology. Pretty much the first Psychadelic album ever!
The rest I can appreciate the song writing but can take or leave

You're bang on about it almost being par for the course to be into The Beatles when you're growing up, gave them a go and moved on quite quick, a bit like that with Dylan too. I'll take Simon & Garfunkel over Bob any day of the week

If I look at my most played tracks the most likely answer would probably be Broken Social Scene - but it's a difficult one to answer....there are too many. Here's my top ten in an order I'll probably change my mind on in about 5 mins time...then another 5 mins after that:
1= Fugazi/Broken Social Scene 2. ....And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead 3. Stevie Wonder 4. Dinosaur Jr 5. Metallica 6. Pavement 7. The Pixies 8. Shellac 9. Phoenix 10. The National
On record, I've really got into Bombay Bicycle Club over the past couple of years. Good live and they've got a sound of their own which is unusual for a band of their age. Live - I've probably seen The Bronx more than any other band over the past few years. They have more energy on stage than any band I've ever seen. The last time I saw them was at The Peel in Kingston which only has a capacity of about 3-400 and it was probably the best live show I've ever seen. Fucking brilliant.
Edit: yeah, I know if you have a joint top it should skip straight to third place after that....but i'm a rulebreaker, what can I say?
