Brother in law used to have a system for them.........he is still skint, I have watched him put 600 quid in in one sitting, he was 2500 up but needed to get back some of the losses , ended up with nowt , Tiz a mugs game imo

most bookies now rely on the machines over 40% i'd say. with football it's the only growth area in betting shops.as the older punters die off younger one's an't replacing them.,they would rather put £10 in the machine and try and win £500 in a few seconds than have a horse or dog bet. but in 5 years time you will have a huge number of people with a gambling problem. i've had so many SELF EXCLUDE and 9 out of 10 are young people with there whole live's ahead of them, who do every penny they have. i've had wives come in begging to let them have some money back because they husband done his months money playing them.it's scary the number of people i see in 1 shop who i know are at risk of developing a problem..

Im the same always see the younger ones playing they machines,i stay well clear of them......saying that i was watching a boy playing it & he was about £575 up and he lost the lost over the next 15 mins,his hands were shaking & he nearly burst into tears,what a mug.
Me and a few pals went on a weekend away a while ago now, one mate went on the roulette and won back all the money he had spent that weekend which was abiout £300.00, was jelous a s fuck but i knew if i'd have tried i'd have just lost more.
Put a bit in now and again, never spent more than £20 a time though, sooner put it on a horse.
Seen people win & lose a lot, especially one lad in our local, seen him lose £300 before, but win £1500. Seen my mate bet all his overdraft too in a hope to win and get out of it, luckily he did. £200 on black, wtf!
