Great day but fucking weird, didn't see one Wolves fan up until I went back through Tipton, just completely sewn up and ruined the atmosphere for me, but I was kind of expecting it.
I honestly went up there expecting a fairly heavy defeat today and couldn't believe how poor wolves were, the gaps opened up at the back on most threat's going forward, was chances both end mind but the foul on Long 1 on 1 was a factor, lot's of poor decision's from the refereeing again. Pretty happy with us today, hope we can go and beat villa next week now.
Not sure where it leaves Wolves, you worried lads ? think you missed Fletcher and don't understand why you didn't start with Hunt ? We've fell lucky with Odemwingie and Long up front something I think your desperate for, was a good match though enjoyed it.
Obviously its bad losing to your rivals but to be honest im not too dissapointed, i thought it was going to be at least a 3 goal margin especially when i saw that Fletcher was out and you had Odimwingie fit. Only saw the first 20 minutes or so, was on it all weekend since friday and only had a few hours sleep and it finally caught up with me so havent seen how we played most the game. The defence looks shocking at times which is strange as after we signed Johnson they looked brilliant the first few games of the season. No doubt MM will be under pressure now after 5 losses on the bounce but im not getting too worried yet, Swansea at home next weekend though and i think we really do need a result then.
yea we def missed fletcher and as you say why not start with hunt? watched it in the pub and everyone was unhappy with mcarthy at the end, starting line ups/subs etc in question again, he is under pressure again. 5 on the trot now..

Think you'll stroll past the Jack's to be honest, those 5 losses have crept up though, I was thinking the worst 3 games ago but it changes so quickly early season.
Both our saving graces are that Wigan Blackburn Sunderland will be suffering as much and Norwich and Swansea will both filter down too. I just don't know how to take our lot though, one week we look utter drivel and another week we can break left right and centre and look like we'll score 5.

If Mcarthy planned he would have known Reid was our weakness and we couldn't believe he didn't stick Hunt on from the start against him, if he had I think it would have been a different story, not taking anything away from our performance because we played well but I just couldn't get my head around wolves tactics.

If you dont beat swansea the pressure will double, and double again.....You should beat them just through frustration aha

Definatley 3 teams worse than us 2 and i dont think either of us will be down there at the end of the season. Dont know whats happened to us in the last 5 games, besides the QPR game we havent played absolutley shocking in any of them but just cant get any results but the first few games of the season we were brilliant. Need the points against Swansea though because weve got Man City the weekend after at their place and i cant see us getting anything there
Watching the highlights just on MOTD and it looked like we had more than enough chances to get back into it but didnt take them so only got ourselves to blame, just cant seem to finish at all recently, just hope Fletcher is back soon.

Yeah I agree mate, when you watched the whole match it was a big difference, Albion just let wolves play it around midfield and pass back to hennessey, I was speaking to the boys I know from wolves last night and they were asking for mcarthys head and change's and I said to them (and this applies to us too) where could you possibly see yourselves ? regardless of anything neither of us are underachieving we are just playing at the level we are destined to play at in the modern football game, if we finish 10th we would be semi happy and why ? completely fucking pointless now, that's how I feel on football, are we going to spend the rest of our day's rivalling Fulham, Villa, Everton & Sunderland for who's the best mid table side ?
