Fucking hell. This thread is writing off some of the best bands in British history. It would seem, according to the experts on here, that if you can't sing note perfect on stage then you are "mediocre", "shit", "overhyped" and not worth a wank. So out of the window go Joy Division. Swiftly followed by New Order. The Fall are next to go. The Smiths had some horror nights too so they are nothing.
Led Zeppelin and The Who are the way to go lads. Oh and The Beatles singing "Love me do" live! I read it in this thread. Stadium/pub rock for the win!!
John Cooper Clark is also a talentless mug. have you heard his voice? PPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dire Straits sound like they do on record! Queen too! And U fucking 2! Have you heard Elton Johns voice? I'm off to buy some See D's.

You fucking mug, you weren't old enough anyway.
I liked you more when you were being a mardy cunt and not posting
It is quite interesting just how much everyone is foaming at the mouth over this latest reunion tour.
There is no denying just how original and influential The Stone Roses have been, but they were of a particular time.
I can only think that, everyone is getting so excited about these gigs because of just how $hite the current state of british music is at the moment.
It really does sadden me that at present there really is nothing going on creatively in our country and that all you have to cling to is the reforming of the latest band who produced some great music 20 years ago.
To be honest it is pathetic, as with many things in recent history, the UK lead the world creatively in so many areas.
Now we are very pale imitations of ourselves and need to get a grip just like we did the last time the fucking Tories were in power.
