A bit of an odd one was our Jimmy, remember a programme about him a few years back. But a legend none the less for a certain generation. I remember a group of us at Junior school in the 70s writing to him asking if we could play against the 1966 world cup winning team at Wembley. We wrote the teams down and everything. Never heard 'owt but then a few weeks later a group of kids played against a United eleven at Old trafford and we knew then it'd never happen. Gutted.
I remember that too V, oddly enough we must have written in around the same time to take penalties against Ray Clemence. My reasoning is he was, and still is shit scared of our slightly delayed run ups and our left backs spot on Saville impersonation.
