will give this a listen in the morning. apologies for not making it down - a mate who works at mixmag got me into their advertisers/pr party: maya jane coles and an open bar plus an easy route home
will also give this a listen, been a big fan of the mixes posted in the past by yourself and S, hoping to make it down for new year, work & family permitting.
reached for the secret too soon, cried for the moon.
Giving a listen. Didn't tell you how I got on with the last one mate a couple of weeks ago, really enjoyed it! Had it on in before going out and went down well with everyone.

I will do mate but I've got to finish it first and pass it around the 3 boys, I've only played it twice out and it went down a treat but next week I'm reworking it as I think it needs some work, going to add some stuff to it and take the last few minutes out and replace it with a full disco workout, once I'm done and I've decided what to do with it I'll send it you over pal, I've got another 3 edit's in the pipeline and I think I'm going to ignore all the other labels/producers etc and just start up our own Boogie Cartel Edits label, once it's finished mate and I've sorted everything out with Saul I'll be happy to pass it over to you as a promo before it's release but it's still work in progress bud and I won't send it out until I'm happy with it.

No worries pal, I think Geoff & Liam are doing NYE, there's a big crowd gonna be there, some of my lot too making their way down so it will be a cracking night
Quote by sauzee88The track at 43 minutes is superb, can you ID it?
No worries on not making it down Jack plenty more to come, We've been suprised at the turn out so far we've had a core group who turn out but each one has been new faces so far which is great, superb crowd the weekend, it was nice to fill the place and there be nobody else DJ'ing there or another night up or down stairs.
The track at 43 minutes is Tyson - after your gone pal
Quote by NiallThanks mate, keep them coming, loved them all so far. Even my missus likes them when I play them indoors which is something in itself.
Love that Billie Ray Martin tune you have used in a few. Heard a virtually vocal free remix of it last weekend in a pub here actually.
Thank's Niall (and Wardle & Peaks)
That track I think your on about isn't Sweet Suburban Disco, I've played it before though on one of our nights or I might have played it at Discovery or Leicester ? I can't think but was it this......
I've had the NYC mix since he released it pal, and at the time (which was what 6/7 years back now) it was just complete refreshment and inspiring, I was heavily into my breakbeat and electro then and listening through Greg's mixes moved me into edits, I always remember hearing his 2 sides of sympathy edit and thinking fuck me, it had me on the spot and it just moved me towards where I was going, from my early age of collecting records and being into music I've always loved that electronic sound but I grew up on Soul, Funk, Original Breaks and Big Beat, House etc so through time and even though I really loved it at the time the electro scene went from creative to just plain shit and it was all a bit lost so I started playing edit's and funk and soul back into my mixes until eventually that modern electro sound was virtually gone, and in all fairness it was from listening to Greg's mixes and getting back to the soul of music for me, I've got a mix somewhere from late 2007 early 08 that's full of electro, and edits, and soul I'll dig it up for you to listen, it just show's perfectly where I was and how I've got to where I am now, but also shows what an influence Greg Wilson was on me, I've always messed around with samples and breaks and cuts since I started in the mid 90's and I think that was a big factor too as it was something I related to, it put's some fun in your set's and you can express yourself.
