well the bairns hid it and its now flat so cant ring it......... can i buy a new one today and keep the same number without having the original sim card ?
They'll issue you with a new sim card-different number-ring them and they will swop it over. Be patient i'm with Orange and you can't understand the foreign fucker's........................bleeding Geordies.

mate there was hell on in here last night he also lost my debit card and there was only 3 flights left i wasnt a happy lad the cards turned up it was in the dishwasher...... but need a phone for tommorow was thinking i could just call into a shop and sort it ?

When my sim card was fucked i went to the Orange shop thinking i could get a new sim straight away. Can you bollocks like, it has to be done online,and it takes 3 working days for delivery!

It might depend on the provider on how quickly you can get sorted with a new number.
3 gave me a new SIM and registered it to my number, within less than 5 mins. About the only things they've done that hasn't needed a lot of 'messing around' to sort.
I had previously registered it as stolen so don't know whether that makes any difference.

With Vodafone they issued a new sim instore to use, Hope you have luck finding it Sean, I got a similar situation at the minute, lost house keys and can I fuck find them, knowing they are somewhere in a jacket pocket or the house.
