Not the most exciting topic I know , but I am very partial to a good cheese , and glass of red . In Holland this week flying home , and sampled some cheese called ' Old Amsterdam ' . Have to say it was delicous , now trying to source some here back home .
Near Amsterdam pal so not much of a help haha, every supermarket in Holland stocks it but tend to get it from the market. Tastes even better for some strange reason.
Don't know much about dutch cheeses but italian ones are often underestimated. Smoked Provolone, Gorgonzola, Parmigiano reggiano, Grana Padano ... getting hungry here
Strangely enough when I went to Holland I ended up at a cheese factory, tasted some cheese with like chilli in it, it was ace! Think it was called like farmers flame, havent found anything like it here.
When I'm here my old fella and I like to daytrip it up to Wensleydale and have a bash at the creamery.Went up last week and we're having a bash at some red leicester with festive chutney. Normally like my 15 year old Vermont chedder though, crackin'
