well lads as my mrs and pals would say ive cut my nose off to spite my face over the years, there is job coming up and im going to go for it. Senior management job and means ive got to do degree foundation course,now the last time i did any school work was 25 years ago So im a bit scared to be honest. I will have to have interview and the panel will be ceo, managing director etc now the last time i had an interview was 21 years ago So i need to really put alot of thought etc into it........ its in the same company i work for now and would be promotion
Live life to the full and enjoy, try and help people who havn't got as much as you, you never know what tomorrow will bring!!!!
go for it mate.....too many folk get stuck in the comfort zone....im trying a completly different carrer path just now and it is daunting but exciting at the same time,,,,if you dont do it you will alway think what if?.....better to have tried than not have tried at all....good luck....
good luck! if it's in the same company then your at an advantage cos you know what the company does! i wouldn''t worry too much about the foundation year, I'm sure you'll manage. look at it as a great opportunity! But yes, you probably will need to grab a book on essay writing!

Jonah, Ive done virtually all my qualifications attending classes in the evenings - right through to my Masters degree and I'll tell ya this mate. It's all down to perseverance. That's mainly it. Guarantee ya you'll be smart enough for a degree no sweat. But most fall down because they can't be fucked doing the assignments, reading the books, etc... I'd a few lonely times when mates were busy enjoying football, nights out, etc..and I was busy fucking typing out a 3,000 assignment. But it was worth it in the end. So don't let that put you off. Not one bit. I promise ya - you'll be smart enough. It's more a case of whether you can be arsed putting the hours in - and I'd say do it because its well worth it and once its done - its in the bag
