Hardly. The young Dane Eriksen pissed all over him in the friendly last season. Now he is a player. That said England will need Wilshire fit and on his game. Definite starter for me but not England's main man. That's Rooney, whether we like him or not.

You can't seriously judge a player of 19 on one off night in a friendly. Was outstanding against Barcelona last season - up against Xavi and the rest.
Rooney had a shit game against Basle - don't make him a shit player.

Jack Wilshire. Be Englands main man at Euros.

It was just an example. Anyway, Eriksen's transfer value would be way in excess of Wilshire's. I'm not denying Wilshire's talent but Christian Eriksen's alround game is superior. And it's not just me that says it either, most clued in football fans would tell you the same. Oh and Eriksen is slightly younger than Wilshire!

Yeah Col not denying Rooney is a great player but not going to be much use sitting in the stand for the first two games of the Euros. Thats why I think Wilshire will stand up and take on the responsibility of being Englands main creative player supported by Parker and Gerard.
He should be fit and raring to go as he has missed most of the season. Capello seems to rate him very highly.
