Been lurking on here for a few months now, just getting a feel for the way it works etc. Decided it was time to introduce myself and get involved in some of the discussions, whenever I think I can make a valid contribution.
My name's Mike, I'm 43, I've dedicated the vast majority of those years doing the same as you guys when it comes to our kind of fashion. All started back in 1982, as a 14 year old conning my mum into shelling out for a Sergio Tennis Shirt and it's been all uphill(!) since then.
I live in Stratford upon Avon, returning to my hometown after 20+ years in London and Brighton. Been lucky to have worked in the industry and I have no doubt I'll still be into this way of life well into my twilight years.
I'm a Wolves supporter, so good to see plenty of lads on here who go down the Mol, also nice to see lads getting on with lads no matter who they support!
Kit wise I'm a fiend for Nigel Cabourn, Norse and the like, but also very interested in discovering labels I'm not so familiar with. Had some dealings with Jules via eBay etc. and I have a penchant for obscure Japanese labels.
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all cyber-style and maybe even in the real world too!
Cheers lads, like most of you I'm keeping 'the powder dry' in readiness for the sales (which I'm surprised haven't really kicked off yet)... Spent last night getting my 'hit list' together, like the saddo I am!
