As someone who watches Celtic weekly and the SPL weekly also I'd say James Forrest , Dylan McGeough , Kenny McLean , Scott Allan amongst many others up here have bright futures ahead of them. The SPL for what it lacks in raw quality has a fair few players with undoubted potential.

McGeough's goal against st mirren was the nuts! However, I feel with Celtic their youth development is great but when they get a bit more mature they just bottle it.

I understand what you mean Jack , a lot of lads have come through the ranks at Celtic and haven't really fulfilled their potential to it's true extent. Im thinking of lads such as Jamie Smith , Simon Lynch , Shaun Maloney , Paul Caddis etc? However , the news seems to very positive coming out the academy at the moment and there has undoubtedly been more of a focus on the academy in the last year or two due to financial constraints..
Karim Rekik who plays for Man city is going to be a big one. He's a 17-year old and I think I remember reading he was captain of the second team aswell.

I really thought Scott Dann was going to play for England when he was here a few years ago and even in his first year at Blues. Trailed off a bit since then unfortunately.
