Just thought I'd put this out there, mainly for those posters who live in the UK but really it boils down to giving the police the respect they deserve. Now I know mostly everyone has had to deal with the bad apples within the police force but not everyone in the police are power mad job worths and for that reason I'm quite happy to support our police force.

I know I couldn't put up with the amount of shit and hassle they have to deal with day in day out.

As a young lad growing up and involved in all sorts of trouble and with an extensive list of convictions, i hated the police. I used all the usual slogans to bring them down. However, as i grew a pair i soon came to relise that they do a fantastic job, which if i'm honest i would struggle with. Last year we were burgled within a week, a conviction, early last year my partners father was murdered, within a two weeks two charges. The process from then on with the involvement from the police made a clear, somewhat easy route to court and with the hard work and determination led to two convictions. for me and i can speak for my family we praise you!!.

Me neither. Purely down to my personal experiences with them and I'm not just talking about geting treated like shit at the football. If they don't like the amount of shit/hassle they get for their money/pension, then quit. Simple.
