Sad to see him go TBH. It's strange with Warnock. Widely disliked by fans of other clubs, but often looked upon fondly by fans of clubs he's previously managed; Plymouth in my case. Perhaps he'd relish the chance to come back and help us out. I believe his wife and kids are still based in Cornwall. He'd have no cash to spend and feck all pay, but he must be getting to the age now when he fancies being closer to home.
I love Warnock, but he divided opinion at Sheff U. Always thought he would end up at Plymouth. Finish training and he could be riding round on his tractor by 2pm

and he was doing okay. Granted they were on a poor run but this is QPR we're talking about, qualifying for the Champions League was hardly going to happen. Warnock gave something they didn't possess in almost twenty years - a pair of fucking balls. Their new owner, Tony Fernandes is a West Ham fan, would love to know what the fuck his plans are for cream of Shepherds Bush - world domination?
would like him at leeds tbh,for many reasons, works wonders on a tight budget, which he will have to do with mr bates, has loads of experience, gets teams working together and fighting for each other, and shows some passion on the touchline arguing every decision, all the things mr grayson seems incapable of doing,oh and one last thing dont think i have heard about warnock shagging the office manager at the last 2 clubs he has been at warnock in,grayson out!!

Can't see Bates or Warnock wanting to work with each other. Warnock has a problem with 'ego Chairmen' and they don't come much bigger than Bates'.

Funnily enough Bates offered him a job way back when. Just before Glenn Hoddle became player manager at Chelsea. Warnock often says it's a big regret of his that he didn't take it.
